Who we are

CITC is owned by the families of Trevor Clarke of Rarotonga (71%) and Donald McKegg of New Zealand (28%). The McKegg family first acquired an ownership interest in 1916. Trevor Clarke’s interest was acquired in 1998. Previous minority shareholders of CITC have included Jardine Matheson of Hong Kong and LD Nathan & Co of New Zealand.

Trevor Clarke (a lawyer by profession) is Executive Chairman of CITC. His daughter Dianna Clarke Bates is also an executive director. Non-executive directors are Donald McKegg, Brian Mason and Michael Carr.

General Manager & Company Secretary is Gaye Whitta.

CITC’s principal banker is ANZ Bank, Rarotonga. Its auditor is KPMG, Rarotonga.
